Brent and Adam were very responsive to questions. They were quick to respond to any concerns and offer advice in regards to the property. They touched base with us during our stay via messaging to verify that our stay was progressing as we wanted and to verify that we had everything that we needed.
The property itself was beautiful and right on the water. The pictures do not do it justice. Every morning was a gorgeous water view. The kids really enjoyed the minigolf video game and playing darts. We would definitely stay here again if we have the opportunity.

We had a great time on our visit to this cozy home. The hot tub saw plenty of use, there was firewood waiting for us to get a fire going, and the kayaks were great for getting out on the beautiful lake. Lots of options for restaurants and classic northwoods activities within 10-15 minutes. On rainy days there was plenty to keep us occupied with the game system, board games, movies and books available. Definitely a nice, relaxing stay.

A beautiful, serene getaway that we all thoroughly enjoyed. Went kayaking and caught some fish in the river that the cabin is on. Although we had many rainy/cloudy days and couldn’t do as much outside as we wanted, there were options for that. Host provided many indoor activities such as books, board/card games, and a hockey table. Fireplace came with clear instructions on how to use, and the hot tub was a group favorite. Would love to stay here again!

We loved our stay at the Elkstone! The property was beautiful and so peaceful with lots to do on the water. The cabin is recently updated and feels modern, stylish and also cozy. There was plenty of space for our family. Adam was a friendly, helpful, and responsive host. We would definitely stay at his place again!

A Seamless and Memorable Stay at the Elkstone
Evenings were spent cooking over the fire pit, located just feet from the winding Pioneer Creek, a peaceful spot that also offered a scenic 20-minute boat ride through the wilderness to Pioneer Lake.
Mornings were equally special, with coffee on the back deck, a place so beautifully crafted it would leave any carpenter in awe of the workmanship.
The two updated bathrooms were clean, functional, and stylish. While we didn’t get to use the hot tub much or the stunning fireplace due to the warm weather, they definitely add to the charm of the home.
The highlight was the well-equipped kitchen, centered around a long, rustic table where we gathered for family-style breakfasts and dinners over good conversation.
The spacious bedrooms gave each of us personal space while still enjoying the comforts of a group setting.
The Elkstone truly provided the perfect home base for experiencing all the beauty and tranquility of Northern Wisconsin.

Our family of 4 including our young adult children and 2 dogs stayed at Elkstone in July. We had a great time. We utilized the kayaks and paddleboards and the 4 of us as well as the dogs kayaked all the way to Pioneer Lake and back. The river is shallow and minimal current so very safe! During our stay we had some rainy and cool days. We enjoyed the fireplace and had a weenie roast, utilized the hot tub and watched a couple of movies. Quick drive to Eagle River and a nice little bar/restaurant -The Burnt Bridge. We stayed Monday through Friday morning so very quiet - not a lot of other folks in their vacation homes. Practically had the river to ourselves. Everything was well maintained and very clean. Very good experience! We would definitely come back!

Freshly remodeled and clean home overlooking tranquil river. House has old charm with modern updates. It was a comfortable home for our multigenerational family weekend. Host was helpful and responsive.

We had a wonderful time at Adam’s house - one of the cleanest homes we ever stayed in - kids used kayaks, paddle boards and canoe, enjoyed hot tub and s’mores at the fire pit!

Really fun cabin to stay in on a beautiful lake. We took advantage of the kayaks for a sunset float, did many local hikes and ate in restaurants in Eagle River. The space was quiet, clean, plenty of room. The full kitchen allowed us to make some meals. Many outdoor areas to hang out including a fire pit, bench on the dock, seating by the end of the yard and in the porch. We highly recommend this listing!

We very much enjoyed our stay. While it rained and was overcast most of the trip it made it impossible to enjoy a beautiful fireplace.
It is an extremely quiet area teaming with wildlife.
The new hot tub was priceless! I can certainly promise you that if it was not for this addition, they’re probably would have been complaints about the weather. Lol.
